Access to and use of this site ('thecablestore.net') is provided by The Cable Store subject to the following terms:

1. By using thecablestore.net you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of thecablestore.net . If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and/or use thecablestore.net.

2. The Cable Store may change these terms at any time by posting changes on this page. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by The Cable Store. Your continued use of thecablestore.net after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.

 
(I) Making an agreement to purchase our goods
 

i. The market in the goods is such that the specification, description and price of individual goods can change.

ii. The invitation to you to order goods from us is not an offer by us to sell to you goods of the specification and description at the price indicated.

iii. Your order is an offer to us to buy the goods of the specification and description at the price indicated.

iv. Wherever possible we will accept your order to buy the goods of the specification and description at the price indicated by e-mail and in which case there will be a concluded agreement between you and us.

 
(II) Delivery of the goods
 

i. The price of goods does not include delivery by us to you.

ii. The costs of carriage and any insurance which you direct us to incur shall be reimbursed by you and shall be due on the date for payment of the price.

iii. The goods shall be delivered by us to your address and the risk in the goods shall pass to you upon such delivery taking place.

iv. You must provide accurate delivery details.

v. You should note that our carrier requires immediate notice to be given of any loss or damage to goods and you should inspect the goods upon receipt and report any loss or damage to the carrier immediately.

vi. In respect of any damage to goods reported to us after 48 hours of delivery we shall require proof from you that the goods were damaged before receipt by you.

vii. You cannot arrange collection of orders from The Cable Store either in-person or via alternative courier.

viii. The customer acknowledges that The Cable Store may, from time to time, be subject to production, delivery or other unforeseen delays and that The Cable Store may allocate distribution of products ordered among its customers at its sole discretion.

ix. If your order has not been delivered within a reasonable time, you should contact The Cable Store through our website.

x. If no one is available at the delivery address to receive the products, The Cable Store's delivery agent will leave an "unable to deliver" card at the address and the customer should follow the directions on that card to obtain delivery of the order.

xi. The Cable Store reserves the right to make partial delivery of an order.

We will try to deliver the goods to you within the time estimated for delivery.

xii. If we are unable to do so, we reserve the right to deliver them within 30 days beginning with the day after the day of the agreement between us.

xiii. If we are unable to deliver the goods to you within 30 days beginning with the day after the day of the agreement, we shall inform you by e-mail.

 
(III) Cancelling an order
 

i. If the customer wishes to cancel an order prior to shipment, the customer must contact The Cable Store immediately through our website. We will endeavour to accommodate the customer's request, if the order has not shipped.

ii. If the customer's entire order is cancelled prior to shipment The Cable Store will apply a credit to the customers credit card and may also apply a cancellation fee.

iii. If an order has already shipped The Cable Store's normal returns and exchanges procedure will apply.

 
(IV) Delivery outside the United Kingdom
 

i. The Cable Store is unable to accept orders or deliver to addresses outside the UK.

 
(V) Returns Policy
 
(V.I) Within 28 Days of purchase date

i. Under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you have the right to cancel the contract relating to your order at any time up to the end of 7 working days after the goods are delivered. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to The Cable Store by letter or our returns page giving details of the goods ordered and date received. If you exercise your right of cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to The Cable Store at your own cost. The Distance Selling Regulations (2000) places a duty on you to take reasonable care of the goods once you have exercised your right to cancel. Returned items must be packaged properly. Please try to include all internal packaging and protective bags, however small. The Cable Store will refund you within 30 days the cost of the order excluding the delivery charge that has been paid by you or debited from your credit or debit card for the goods. If after exercising your right under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you do not return the goods as required, The Cable Store may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods. When exercising your right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) please return goods to:

ii. Exceptions to Distance Selling Regulations (2000) - You do not have the right to cancel the contract under the Distance Selling Act if you are not a consumer i.e. a company, partnership, sole trader or any other commercial body or registered charity.

iii. If returning goods to The Cable Store for reasons other than your right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) further conditions apply. Please see - In all cases where support and/or returns service is provided by The Cable Store.

 
(V.II) In all cases where support and/or returns service is provided by The Cable Store

i. Compatibility - The Cable Store cannot guarantee that every hardware product is 100% compatible with every software product available.

ii. Returning Faulty Goods - Please be sure returned goods are faulty and the problem experienced is not caused by another product. If after having received Technical Support information you are completely satisfied you have faulty goods please request an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorisation) using our returns system.

iii. Only Return Faulty Item(s). RMA numbers are issued for specific components only. Please do not return your whole order because you believe one component may be faulty. This does not affect your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000).

iv. Completeness of Returned Item(s). Please try to include all internal packaging, cables, manuals, drivers and protective bags, however small.

v. Modified Goods. Any goods that have been modified or physically altered in any way shall be deemed Warranty Void and no support will be provided.

vi. Packaging. Returned items should be packaged properly and shipped in a plain outer box.

vii. Testing . All returned items not returned in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) are tested by The Cable Store. Any item found to be not faulty will be subject to a £5 + shipping charge if shipped back to the customer. You will be notified by e-mail before any non-faulty goods are returned to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 
(VI) Shipping Policy

i. Undelivered goods. If the courier loses or fails to deliver your goods then a claim must be made by you. We will provide you with a copy of our "proof of posting", and an invoice for your order, to enable you to make an inquiry at your local Depot, or claim against the courier. The courier is not a tracked service.

i. Shipping times. First class (1-2 days, Mon-Sat). Second class (1-3 days, Mon-Sat). Standard Parcels (1-3 days, Mon-Sat).

(VII) Correspondence

i. The Cable Store will reply to all customer emails within 48 hours.

ii. All communications regarding orders must include your order number.

iii. The Cable Store Technical Support. We are happy to provide free technical support to all The Cable Store customers who require help or advice regarding products purchased from The Cable Store. To obtain Technical Support use our support system and ensure you have your order number to hand.

Please note that these terms and conditions may change from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
